Chess and your Job. How are they related?

chess pieces

Chess and your job. How are the two related? There are many things that you do on your job that is acquainted to playing a game of chess.

Starting your work day is alot like opening a chess game. You prepare yourself for what might be a tough day at work. In chess you prepare yourself to face a tough opponent. As in a game of chess, there are times when you are up for work and there are times when you are feeling down.

You must handle pressure at work and you must handle the pressures of playing a game of chess. If you are focussed at work you will do well. The same applies to a game of chess.

When you have made a mistake at work, it does not help to panic. You must assess what you have done wrong and try your best to correct the problem. The same applies when a mistake is made at the chess board.
